In selecting a topic, you are welcome to pick a topic that is of interest to you. You may also find it helpful to see some potential topics that would be good areas to research for your project, which you are welcome to utilize and develop for your topic. In part 1, you will describe the topic and its importance. Essentially, in a brief 1-page summary, you will explain the extent of the forensic psychological issue that you have identified and note the importance of your topic by referencing scholarly materials.

In part 2, you will complete a chart where you identify 3-5 sources that you might use to evaluate your problem in your literature review and presentation later in the course. These may be the same resources you utilized in part 1 or additional resources you have identified through your research that may be useful in your project. In this part of the assignment, you will construct a chart that organizes your research and allows you to analyze each one across certain key dimensions. See the following example to get an idea of how you can prepare such a chart. Be sure to also include a full reference page for any sources utilized in both parts of this assignment
