Between 2016 and 2020 several events happened that called into question the globalization of the supply chain, such as trade wars, nationalization movements, such as Brexit, the policy changes of the Trump administration, and the COVID-19 outbreak of 2019 and 2020. Many popular news sources have interviewed locals on the impacts of these events, chronicled decisions of policy makers, and tracked economic changes. Your task in this exploration is to consider one of these events and the impact it had on the global supply chain.

  • How did this global event impact the global supply chain?
  • If you had been a business owner during this time, would you have changed your global manufacturing supply chain? Why or why not?
• Your initial post should be between 300 and 500 words.
• You need to research for this assignment.
